True Beauty

This semi-realistic artwork is contributed to a OC group's Monthly Mission, Musical March. It is a fanart of one of my Teen Titan OCs, Hoshi (redesigned). This is inspired from a song, "Burn" by Ellie Goulding.  

The fanart is about how many people are oblivious of the Galaxy's "true" beauty that Hoshi hopes that everybody would start to appreciate its brillance. As a metaphor, she is representing the Galaxy.  Also, the stuff on her head symbolises the spirits, creatures and things she owns, likes and her birthplace.

Victorian comb (Flower with leaves): Represents her hair spirit, Coma Bernices

Telescope: Represents her telescope spirit, Telescopium

Snowflakes: Represents Yuki Onna (a Japanese mythical creature, in english it means snow woman)

Crow feather: Represents Karasu tengu (a crow Japanese mythical creature)

Spears: ( Represents her hunting anthro dog spirits, Canes Ventaici 

Golden cup: (Represents her cup spirit: Crater)

Chains: (Represents her chain spirit, Andorema)

House, pocketwatch, flowers, diamond and a bird : (Represents her birthplace, London, England)

Ps: I don't think my redesign Hoshi looks like a teenager. Don't you think ( -_-")
